I just completed my 90 days of ChaLean Extreme and I’m ecstatic with my results!!! I have completely fallen in love with the program and am definitely planning a round 2 very soon!! I now recommend it to many of my beginner customers and challengers as well as my advanced. With the beginners, they start with the bands it comes with or light weights. If they want to really push themselves and increase their results, I suggest they increase their weights. As you can see, weights do not BULK you but rather get you lean and toned! MUSCLE BURNS FAT!!
I really enjoyed Chalene Johnson and found the program not intimated and it didn’t get old at all. I probably pushed myself harder with this program than any other just because she was so motivating and it was FUN!!!! I never dreaded the workouts especially because they didn’t take up too much of my time!!! Oh, and the mom of a million babies and the grandmother in the video really, really inspired me!!!!! They look amazing!!!
Here are some details:
1. The program is 5 days a week and about 35-45 min a day. I sometimes added a 6th day of cardio but not every week.
2. I wasn’t perfect in the program and had moments where I missed a workout but I did the best I could. I can’t imagine if I WAS perfect how great my results would be!!
3. I did drink Shakeology every single day
4. I ate clean about 80-85% of the time
5. My weights varied from 5 lb warm ups to 10 lb, 15 lb, 23 lb and 28 lbs.
6. I do have diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia. I wear a splint for the diastasis recti when I workout and I do not do sit ups or plank work. I would do jumping jacks or other cardio in place of that if there was a move she did that required that. I’m planning on getting my hernia repaired but just healing the diastasis myself.
7. I also have hypothyroidism and take levothryoxine 100 mcg every morning.
8. I have a “bad” knees so modify some of the jumping and this program didn’t bother my knees at all. I also take fish oil daily!!!
9. My weight started at 114 lbs (this was after a round of P90X) and ended at 110 lbs. I lost some body fat but gained muscle.
10. The 90 day pics are taken June 5, 2012 and my daughter was 10 months old (I had a c-section July 28, 2011)

I have to say, I’m LOVING my Chalean Extreme results so far!!! I’ve pushed myself harder and gained more strength and lean muscle in the last 2 months than in the previous 4 months. Part of it, I believe, is that I just find Chalene Johnson SO motivating!! The program isn’t overwhelming (30-45 minutes a day/5 days a week), it’s meant for woman and just goes by so fast!!! I’m in LOVE!!! Since starting Chalean Extreme I have a newfound zest for working out (which I used to dread and put off until the end of the day!).
So, my weight hasn’t really changed since starting but I see so much more muscle definition!! My abs are finally coming in, even with my hernia and diastasis recti!!! It’s hard to believe I had my daughter just 9 months ago via c-section!!! I LOVE this program so much, that I’ve recommended it to numerous clients and my challengers and their results speak VOLUMES!! This is a well designed program with a good mix of weight training (MUSCLE BURNS FAT!) and cardio!!!
